yo ya all.

its been 1 week since i stepped foot on utp’s soil. nothing much actually, just routine. classes, labs and tutorials will start next week. i believe its going to be a very busy busy semester for all of us. for me and fei, there’s actually alternate saturdays lab session. one of the sessions will be from 8am to 5pm. cuckoo huh?

lol. that was my first reaction. my friends suddenly came out with a plan on thursday to go to ipoh the next day. oh well, calculus ended at 12pm, rushed back room, changed and off we went.

lol. yeap, it was a 30 minutes walk to the main gate from our village. its like one end to the other end of the world. our second challenge was the public busses. it was full when 9 of us entered and throughout the journey, i relied on two kind of fragile bars to keep myself in the bus. stood on the stairs all the way to medan kidd. well, thank God we had a safe journey.

this is the bus we took to ipoh parade. look how… cute it is. i think its as big as a large van. yeah, i was sitting right behind when i snapped the picture. look -

lol. so, hello ipoh parade.

there were terribly lots of students then over there when we arrived. some were like… school=fashion institute. lol. more like a fashion show i’d say. oh well. ’students’. =P

went for dragon tiger gate. haiyak! kungfu stuff movie. dont think i should comment much about the movie. (rating from me. 1-10, 10 best. i vote 3.). i thought its about ancient days kungfu that happened many many years ago. suddenly the main actor popped out a rotating nokia (no idea what series) and started calling his friend. lol. and the best part, our handsome dragon tiger gate’s sifu… wears jeans! =P lol.

went for lunch in marrybrown after hunting for a mcdonald which doesnt exist. shopping after that. somehow we ended up in the arcade where theres a hand-dancing thingee. lol. kelvin, beh and guan- dancers ofthe century. lol. theres a few videos of them dancing, thanks to dean. interested? its not sold in the market o. lol. then we continued walking and walking, visited the whole building.

didnt manage to snap a group picture. only one with meekee. =) (permission granted to post the picture =)  thanks meekee.)

see now what i meant by hairy mushroom-coconut-upside down bowl in my last few blog? total makeover. lol. since i have little hair on my head, im trying to balance it with moustache now. people often say its really messy. (not clean o) lol. okay. meekee looked great, as always. =)

saw a sculpture. looked quite interesting.

cool eih? many of these decors are sold in kl too, but not as pricey as ipoh.

lol. so we went to the almost closed food court for dinner and left the place. it was about 9 pm that time already. huh. what a day. always nice to be with my friends again. took a rm 40 cab back to utp. taxis these days. huhu.

another day passed. fast. huhu. hopefully things turn out all fine for all of us.

today had only one class, which was cancelled without prior notice. irresponsible i’d say, but nevermind. lol. todays blog, im going to describe my new pretty room in utp. this is my block, v4c (practically every block in this village looks the same). quite cool facade huh with those greeneries and all. its quite a new block actually. 

then theres the pathway in. the door there is actually a magnetized security door. its actually quite ‘high-tech’ for a hostel because to get into the building, one has to swipe his or her id (or we call it matrix card). somehow or rather, they decided not to use the door’s security features (tedious perhaps) but instead used two large stones to avoid it from shutting.

great technology, greater stones. -.-"

okay thats about the exterior. zoom into my room. the first thing you will notice is my seriously colourful bed. lol. not-that-matching fittings. lol. look-

that black thing at the edge of the bed is an ogawa eye something. helps me to sleep at night when im restless. lol. colourful eih? its comfortable, really.

and thats my workstation. big and long table, awkwardly positioned book rack, and a really really huge window. not that its not good but man, even a cow can jump over it. high jump cows event. all my treasures are on my table. anytime, freaks can just swap it away. look, theyre seriously huge -

see those edifiers? theyre my pride~ =) great sound, great design and value for money. the only problem is that together with the woofer, its nett weight is about 8 kilograms.

greetings everyone!

whee im back on track.

internet in my place is finally up, up, up and on! lol. 24 hours internet connection. whee. okay so i tried blogging in my lab just now but somehow the page didnt load properly.

had a great time in penang before going back to utp. met up with sis and some of her friends. im glad to see that theyre supportive and caring towards each other. visited lots of eating places. non stop digesting food. at nite had a long/longer/longest sharing session. lol. so the next day left for utp. see my dad driving. dare not snap the speedometer or some freaky cyber authorities might ticket me. its a tunnel, somewhere on perak soil.

went back, saw my pretty room. cleaned up and unpacked my stuff. even utp is cleaning up her buildings.

pretty cool my room is. everything looks so blue and yellow. one of my favourite colour combinations. lol. the only problem is that its ground floor and people can just climb in and hijack my room. my roomie came back a few hours later. dad called. something bad happened at home. spare the details i should.

so its routine, registering courses and tutorials.. stuffs like that. new lecturers, new coursemates, new everything. the dang timetable got me into terrible headache(ssss) as usual, with some shocking changes last minute and lots of -

"eh dah full lar session ini! session lain semua clash dengan lecture ni!" thingees.

i need an aspirin, a big one- like a giant curry puff. huh~

come on utp, introduce better alternative(s) to register courses.

had a sharing session with my friend. i guess i havent been making many enemies all of a sudden afterall. im glad. im really really glad its different now. bless her, hope everything will run smoothly for her. i always thought im in a big big huge trouble. im thankful now. really i am.

so tonight, i am here again, hopefully a changed man, after all had happened. let go, just let go, surrender and life will be so much better. i know, He will always be around for all of us if we seek Him. people change, some seriously quick, some takes time. whatever is it, people change all the time. hopefully things turn out alright for everyone. God bless you all.

today is my last nite in kuala lumpur, again. theres been three ‘last nights’ until now including today, all feeling bad and sorry. tonights no different. just that im a little happy i bought quite some stuffs today- satisfied.
bad versus good feelings? bad wins, fast.

huhu. so today left for jaya jusco. sale. lol. in the morning it was like a construction site. workers moving here and there. shoes moving around. messy. lol. left with mommy to run errands and came back again in the afternoon. this time its neater. oh well, started hunting for my shoes. bought a court shoe and a walking shoe. a black yonex and a blue and orange avia shoe. quite striking actually. i cant make up my mind, white or orange laces. comments anyone?

met wai-ling (waichor and joling) and lum walking around. to avoid further being the brightest spot light, lum joined me. we went to the arcade and played JURASSIC PARK III. quite fun actually.

met meiping and her sis as well. =) happy to see them. mei ping looked great.

started packing. lol. i guess my neighbour was right. i AM migrating… to malaysia. look -

thats only a small portion. theres more behind the camera. just hope that the wira can fit everything. its a long way up north to penang.

dinner- went to a pat kin pat sun kafe (i think it means.. erm i dont quite know). i kind of dont recognize it as a proper restaurant. they try to act high class and all; ‘friendly’ waiters, heavy cutleries, medley of choices, expensive food. the furnitures and the location spoil everything though. plastic chairs and tables. anyway, the food was okay, but not that good compared to places like kaki corner. serves the same food; more generous, cheaper, better dining environment. lol.

big boxes, big bags, big loud sighs, big louder ‘ahhhs’, big loudest ‘mom, wheres my stuffs?’, small will.

times square (seriously.. again man?- yes).

4 consecutive visits in 4 days.

auntie in shoe shop asked "you work here ah? always come around".

speechless- man i look that old?

duh, i think im in love with auntie shoe or the shop, or the shoes.

borders (main reason im there in times square)- exploited air cond and sofa, read joshua harris’ words for an hour.

friend called, movie she asked.

too bad, no movies available that early evening.

debenhams- shes interested but bought nothing (debenhams closing down clearance up to 80% discount- take note. gals, please dont get too high/excited now.)

shasta- bought some kiddy junk food, ‘toki’- prove that im not that old afterall =P.

okay. so after blogging the edginess thingee, felt that i shouldnt stay home anymore. felt miserable staying at home doing nothing. made up my mind and left for times square (again!). three consecutive visits in 3 days to that mall. lol. wonder what made me so attracted to it.

ordered a frapuccino in borders’ starbucks (man, a silver coated cuppa. digged rm 14 from my shallow pockets for a tall) =P, found a comfortable place to sit and read my book. got an invitation to go sunway pyramid but hesitated. kind of far far away but seriously its been a while since paid a visit to that mall. after 2 hours reading, left for sg wang. wanted to hunt for my second pair of walking shoes but to no avail. instead, found the books that my sister wanted- I’arca. bought 3 for rm30. broke. walked a walk and suddenly something attracted me in one of the shops. lol. ive been eyeing for this decor for ages already. saw it once but it was expensive so i decided not to buy it. its actually a pair of erm… human hugging each other but its actually a pepper and salt container. lol. bought it without hesitations this time. pretty eih? wheee

walked again and sis called, requested me to go back to borders to purchase another book for her, a huge thick one. i think the total weight of the books that i bought was 10 kg. lol. done. was happy, wanted to make my way to the lrt and head home. something caught my attention again on the way:

debenhams closing down sale up to 80%.

whoa. was so high i went straight in. lol. not that im those ’si lai’ type but no kidding, its debenhams and theres 80% discount. lol. once in a lifetime it happens. saw some christmas decors/ornaments. bought six silver baubles for rm2.60. was dirt cheap really. though christmas is still far away, theres no harm keeping them first right. saw many women buying those gurlie stuffs. lol. paid happily and suddenly saw hippos by russ. bought few of them as well. lol. happy i was. anyway, seems like metrojaya is going to take debenhams place in september 2006. oh well, goodbye debenhams, hello metrojaya.

okay so made my way to the lrt station. well, as usual, packed. came home sweaty. relaxed for a while and its pasar malam time. went with daddy and bought lots of food. lol. ate happily at home.

while i was packing, saw an abandoned tennis racket (origins unknown) in the store. oh well, God knows how ancient that racket may be but well, save me my rm100 to buy a new one. ive heard of the brand last time- Donnay. it seems that its kind of extinct nowadays. anyone got any impression? it looks pretty modern so my guess is when someone in the family bought that racket then, it mustve costed them a fortune. lol. anyway, there is a big JIM pasted on it now. its all mine~ (i kind of misplaced all my tennis balls. couldnt find it anywhere).

had a short chatting session with one of my old long lost friend yesterday. he told me that one of my close primary friend, swee kee, had passed away. sad =(. was really shocked and felt bad because i didnt even pay my last respect to him. apparently he had a heart problem; complained of chest pain and a few days later died in the hospital. my condolences to his family. he was really a great matured man.
life… is so unpredictable. one day smiling away, the other six feet under. sigh. cherish life while you still can ya’all. huh, what a terrible news =(. God bless you swee kee. rest peacefully in heaven.

i guess thats all for the day. 2 days left and im going to go back to utp again. time flies.

schools starting. kind of scared to go back to utp again.

if someone can just understand how i feel about it. =(

man. there were terribly loads of hard times during study week and the end of the last semester. struggles and all. mentally tortured. some people might not just know how it went on for so long, thought i had it real easily. thank God. Hes around at least to give me strength. blessed me with results. i really thought i failed miserably after all had happened. couldnt think about anything at that time i’d say. could do some personal isolation. =X

man why am i mumbo-jumbo ing again.

guess thats edginess. always happens before i travel back to utp. pretty soon i’ll be back to concrete jungle again. 3 days.

hmm indeed a terribly hot saturday. i’d say its like 50 degrees out there? its good enough to roast chicken…. burnt chicken. anyway, today sis is going to come back for a few days. shes going to have some sort of concert in klcc on monday i dont know. time flies. another week. last week i still remember im blogging about all those recycle thingees. huhu. *yikes*. last week was outing week. lol.

went out a number of occasions but mostly with the same person. as usual, those outings were accompanied by movies. lol. so we had ghost/horror movies, action, adventure, stupid (its one of the classifications now) etc. lol. yesterday (friday) was quite a memorable one day i’d say. theres so many changes of plans, all last minute. sometimes i wonder why is it so hard to just go peacefully, enjoy the company, watch the movie, digest the popcorns and cokes (mandy, im trying here), buy some clothes and stuff. lol.

so my company at that time had some hard time planning for herself, her friends and stuff. lol. went to times square. oh well, that particular day was sab’s day. met with a number of sabians and ex-sabians. em was walking pass by laksa shack, saw wai lun with a few gals (whoohoo! he’s hot!) =P, walk a walk, met up with him again and he told me that ziman and her friend is there as well.

oh well. wondered around waiting for my friend to arrive. walked, walked, walked, looked at some stuff and walked again. went to mcd, had my coke light (yes mandy, i know). went to meet my friend, met lum again. walk a walk, met a bunch of juniors- kahmay included. happy i was. lol thought ill never see her before im back to campus. so mandy, lum and i went to 10th avenue for dinner (or tea) or something. this time my food wasnt as bad as the one i had during the mini sab gathering. ill spare the details bout the food. anyway met iris and gang i heard. i didnt really saw them around. ‘enjoyed’ our food and made way to the cinema. wai lun left us for home- hes tied to mommy’s curfew.

so went in for movie. had pirates II,again for two consecutive days. say im a movie addict\too rich\cuckoo - no. just the fellowship im enjoying. okay came out, was a little chilly in the cinema. sent my fried home; got to know more about cheras flat, lost my earphones protector, saw a huge plump rat, paid rm1 for the bus when its supposed to be rm2, and boarded the lrt. home sweet home. back home, ate my dinner (again?) and onlined for a while. routine night i’d say. was feeling a little edgy then that night. i wonder why. sorry mandy. dont mind me okay? cuckoo jim.

1 more week i’ll be around kl. this is my last weekend already. man, that last 7 weeks is seriously short. good times blink away. sigh. but anyway, the sooner i finish my studies, the better it is. all the best everyone. those going back, journey mercy and drive safely ya all daddys and mommys. =) guess im off. im going to post this at night later.

i find that sentence pretty interesting. quite hard i’d say, but i see the need there to respect one another even though he or she is our enemy.

ive been through a lot during the ending of january 2006 semester about this issue. ive made some close friends (which i am heck of a glad to), and at the same time suddenly lots of enemies popped out as well. the sad thing is that used to be very close with these friends. i guess something changed that status. i dont quite know why or how, but ive done my part (trust me i did).

offered to talk about the issue, solve the rivalry but one actually just walked away from me with ears closed and sang songs. lol. come to think of it, thats only one of them. okay, maybe ive exaggerated. shouldnt call them enemies but the way theyre treating me, the way they look at me as if i am the worst people they know made me think so. i know that look, that kind of stares. i seriously dont quite know what to do or say but surrender everything to Him. yes, maybe ive done wrong in the past. everyone does. be angry and what not. its always hard to mend a relationship anymore after all those things happen in life. but i guess life goes on. seriously i think i am bad. many weaknesses i have but im trying my ever best to take them away from me.

miss the old times when i had arguments with my best friends back in SAB, boys or gals. the next hour, we’ll be smiling to each other, enjoying our meals. not that im comparing, its just that i dont think friendship should be that fragile. breaks into fragments just because of some silly issues (some doesnt even concern them at all ironically). if it is that fragile, ive rather not mend a relationship at all in the first place.
i dont know. i guess i shouldnt say more about it. my apologies, if i have offended anyone.

went to watch pirates of the carribean yesterday. the shows good. the graphics is one of the best ive seen. that kraken’s tentacles looked jelly’ish’ seriously. it was bouncing (dont quite know what word to use here). those tiny details were perfect. thats definitely professional (and costly) =). johnny depp did well. he was all funny and stylish. just like the old him. story goes really unpredictable. in short, its a pretty movie to watch.

my holidays are ending sooner than i can imagine. i cant catch them back again. sigh. this time next week i’ll be back already in my new dormitory with my roomie. have to worry about registrations and what not? those common routines every semester. being labeled an international recognized university, cant they have a better way of registering courses rather than..

"okay ah, i paste papers at my office block. u come and write ur name accordingly. do it fast or theyll be no space left for u."

(actually i think it encourages violence) =P

oh sigh. ive wrote too much again i guess. oh well, yet another dull day.
