todays picture:
too tall to be seated.. uncomfortable, odd looking, broken. but it will always be remembered. perhaps its going to be recycled. perhaps its going to be fixed. man, i sure hope its fixed. lol. its a chair in one of the tutorial rooms in utp. i feel very much metaphoric. (haha comparing myself to a chair? cuc-a-koo.)

back in kuala lumpur at the moment. four days from now. many things happened then before i came home. had my vector calculus and intro to materials and science test. it was bad. tell no more i will. flunk it terribly i guess. was really a hectic week back then. had my tests and after that went for planetshakers live in ipoh, thanks to Gabby boy and his friends. (for those of you who dont know, planetshakers is a christian band. they rock the world in God’s name!)

its wasnt really planetshakers. just few of the members came, not the whole band- edrea said. yeah, they sang their old songs, danced, shouted, played loud music, jumped, and stuffs. it was great, met some friends there as well, but cant agree with some of the speeches the planetshakers made. (oh well, my own views again). erm after that went to tong sui kai and ate two rounds of dinner. lol bloated after that. oh yeah, a really blur picture of planetshakers in action.

went back utp, tired but still got to pack for the next day’s camp- LOST COP camp july 06. lots of efforts are put in by us the camp committee to make the camp a big big success. this time, i want to hail tomi, our camp commander!

something happened in the camp that dissapoint me a little but oh well, im there to seek God’s presence. who cares bout the others, especially people who manipulate church camps as holiday getaways. >.< thats so so wrong. anyway, had a great time in langkasuka. thank God we were given a good bargain for the place. 4 days 3 nights there in a 4 star resort hotel including 3 meals a day of good-yummy-eat-all-you-can hotel food, buffet style. lol. came back with a terrible stomach ache though. no idea why. daddy said i ate too much perhaps. lol. =P

anyway, spent some good times with a few final year seniors, snapped some good pictures and stuffs. revealed some weird facts about a friend of mine. i dont know why but maybe its just odd to be good friends with her. anyways, the sessions were great. its just that sometimes after meals, felt dizzy, sleepy and all. huhu. for the sketch, guess what? i acted as a lost whale, trying to play the bass guitar, lying down and making *ommmmm* sounds. suppose to be whale’s … erm what word to use-ah? humming? anyway, our group didnt really performed well, but i guess its alright.

the games were fun but terrible. i mean, i volunteered out as a member of the game masters and this is what happened. they made us drink freaky concoctions. man, i mean FREAKING FREAKY concoctions. raw egg, chilli sauce, pepper in a 1.5 litres coke bottle. not bad enough? how about vinegar and soya bean juice? still not bad enough? erm theres another drink which ive got no idea what secret recipe they used. then there was this blended bitter gourd, cabbage, carrots and God-knows-whats-inside-the-cup-some-more drink. lol. trust me, it didnt taste good AT ALL! perhaps that is why i came back with a very sad and upset stomach. huhu. still drumming in my stomach those alien things are.

oh well, sweet memories. LOST camp was simply great. hope it impacted everyone!

been a really long but fast (only when digesting books) week. *sighs*
had my thermo test on monday, which was seriously cuc-a-koo.  just hope that i didnt flunk that paper. cant get the dang internal energy change! lol anyway, vector calculus next on friday. just suddenly felt like blogging, refused revising my vector. know nuts about it i do.
(dr sethu, my lecturer, is great. its just that his strong indian accent isnt.)

weird perpendiculars lines, normal vectors, orthogonals huhu and er .. what, parallelepiped? huh. yeah, i know, those are basics but i dont know why, cant seem to cope. huh.

>.< went to lecture with heavy eyes today. walked pass this particular place, i felt like going in to play. reminded me of old fun playgrounds. hear laughs, mommy mommy, daddy daddy… lol. look-

those yellow bars look like swings. monkey bars and see saws. felt like travelling back time. lifes much simpler when i was a kid. no worries about anything.

after lectures, walked parallelepipedly (?) to the library, thought of studying some math. this red ‘new scientist’ magazine caught my attention. yeah, the header was ‘all about love’. felt very curious, grabbed it and went to my usual spot. dont get me wrong. im not desperate or anything. it was about love, yeah, but explained very scientifically; how people love one another, mother’s love, animals love, how human get attracted to each other. all those related to some sort of things going on in our body.

guess what?
seems like scientists discovered that we will know who is our potential life partners via… their smell.

yeah, cuckoo i know. but their statements really made sense to me. so people out there, start sniffing out your partners.
*sniff sniff*.

nah, im not sniffing. cant forget this one particular smell. >.< 

said that this oxytoxin thingy  (one of the thousands of hormones in our body) takes away ’social fears’. means that people will feel very bonded to each other when its secreted. it will cause some sort of addiction to another person- its like when you are in a relationship, you keep wanting to meet your special one. more explainations actually in the magazine. lol. i dont know, it might sound crappy to you. scarry. i think my body is secreting excessive oxytoxin all day.

oh well, its just something that caught my attention from a scientific magazine.

lol. whatever is it, i think that not a single soul can explain what love is.

God can- that i know.

its been a while. absent for a few weeks of blogging. been stuck to a terribly hectic schedule and a mountain of assignments. recently got this obsession to chat over the mirc/ym/gtalk/skype which made my time management altogether down the drain. hmm. i got to put a full stop to chatting, else ill get F’s grades (fabulous grades. sigh) soon. here goes-

lol. hmm so this few weeks were faburibble (fabulous + terrible). lol. ups and downs as usual, life.

there was this particular night, 12th of August 2006- Rotaract Installation thingee. volunteered as a PR guy. its kind of not my thing being a PR. got a really bad socializing skills plus some really bad persuasion skills. oh well, followed john’s automobile to ipoh that day together with melissa, davin and mich. hmm. the girls wanted to go early to set their hair and all. figured that i should buy a shirt because all i have in my wardrobe was white colour shirts. makes me look like im going for a funeral procession instead of a installation thingee. with help from dav, mich, melissa and john, picked a PINK, BLUE, GREY and WHITE padini shirt. haha colourful indeed. a new jim is evolving. never in his life a shirt so colourful (and pink) haha. im a solid guy. that shirt, though after 50% discount, is definitely the most expensive shirt in my life. hmm. lol. okay. check it out. the shirt of the year:

alright. we had to sell some sort of raffle’s ticket for lucky draws. really tested my marketing skills that thing. yeap. i sold the least among the PRs. mission failed- miserably. another picture before leaving causuarina hotel:

aiite. after that installation thing, we left for a movie. another first in my life, a hindi movie in the cinema. i really really dont know what is it called, but i think it means ‘dont say goodbye’. its by shah rukh khan (wrong spelling i know) and … erm a bunch of actors/actresses i dont know. i was actually touched by that movie- rare occasions. two thumbs up. lol. (rating 1-10, 1 best. i’d give 2) haha. colourful (and most expensive) shirt, hindi movie, touched heart.. what else? yeah, another surprise to add to the day.

"hey, lets stay over in ipoh for the night! since its already 3 in the morning and we are going to church at 7 later."

what! lol. oh well, we voted and i thought it was really a cool idea. haha. melissa didnt want to stay but majority wins. =P lol. so we checked into a weird hotel. theres a ..
(erm what do u call a guy who works as a woman prostitute? erm.. aiite. ill call them subject A)

alright. so there was this subject A who really has a coarse deep voice waiting for customers. we unpacked our stuff and went for supper. haha supper at 4am. lol. okay went down, subject A finally got his (or her?) customer. guess what, a guy. hmm. nvm. (they stayed in the same hotel! wah!).

sensitive and indecent issues. =P

went to tong sui kai for supper. oh well, slept. everyone was tired. woke up and went for church. it was our mother church’s 21st anniversary, i think. hope i didnt get the numbers wrong. aiite. a group picture =) :   

after the service we went to jaya jusco once more. lol. the way back…
i guess i will spare the details. lol. hmm i guess everyone enjoyed themselves. hehe. im glad i went out with them that day. really an unforgettable experience. at least, something new and surprises in life. heh.

i think again i wrote too much. sigh. anyway, all the best everyone especially to those who are having trials and all. UTP’s going to be quiet soon. tests are near as well. hmm.

its been 1 week since i stepped foot on utp’s soil. nothing much actually, just routine. classes, labs and tutorials will start next week. i believe its going to be a very busy busy semester for all of us. for me and fei, there’s actually alternate saturdays lab session. one of the sessions will be from 8am to 5pm. cuckoo huh?

lol. that was my first reaction. my friends suddenly came out with a plan on thursday to go to ipoh the next day. oh well, calculus ended at 12pm, rushed back room, changed and off we went.

lol. yeap, it was a 30 minutes walk to the main gate from our village. its like one end to the other end of the world. our second challenge was the public busses. it was full when 9 of us entered and throughout the journey, i relied on two kind of fragile bars to keep myself in the bus. stood on the stairs all the way to medan kidd. well, thank God we had a safe journey.

this is the bus we took to ipoh parade. look how… cute it is. i think its as big as a large van. yeah, i was sitting right behind when i snapped the picture. look -

lol. so, hello ipoh parade.

there were terribly lots of students then over there when we arrived. some were like… school=fashion institute. lol. more like a fashion show i’d say. oh well. ’students’. =P

went for dragon tiger gate. haiyak! kungfu stuff movie. dont think i should comment much about the movie. (rating from me. 1-10, 10 best. i vote 3.). i thought its about ancient days kungfu that happened many many years ago. suddenly the main actor popped out a rotating nokia (no idea what series) and started calling his friend. lol. and the best part, our handsome dragon tiger gate’s sifu… wears jeans! =P lol.

went for lunch in marrybrown after hunting for a mcdonald which doesnt exist. shopping after that. somehow we ended up in the arcade where theres a hand-dancing thingee. lol. kelvin, beh and guan- dancers ofthe century. lol. theres a few videos of them dancing, thanks to dean. interested? its not sold in the market o. lol. then we continued walking and walking, visited the whole building.

didnt manage to snap a group picture. only one with meekee. =) (permission granted to post the picture =)  thanks meekee.)

see now what i meant by hairy mushroom-coconut-upside down bowl in my last few blog? total makeover. lol. since i have little hair on my head, im trying to balance it with moustache now. people often say its really messy. (not clean o) lol. okay. meekee looked great, as always. =)

saw a sculpture. looked quite interesting.

cool eih? many of these decors are sold in kl too, but not as pricey as ipoh.

lol. so we went to the almost closed food court for dinner and left the place. it was about 9 pm that time already. huh. what a day. always nice to be with my friends again. took a rm 40 cab back to utp. taxis these days. huhu.

another day passed. fast. huhu. hopefully things turn out all fine for all of us.

today had only one class, which was cancelled without prior notice. irresponsible i’d say, but nevermind. lol. todays blog, im going to describe my new pretty room in utp. this is my block, v4c (practically every block in this village looks the same). quite cool facade huh with those greeneries and all. its quite a new block actually. 

then theres the pathway in. the door there is actually a magnetized security door. its actually quite ‘high-tech’ for a hostel because to get into the building, one has to swipe his or her id (or we call it matrix card). somehow or rather, they decided not to use the door’s security features (tedious perhaps) but instead used two large stones to avoid it from shutting.

great technology, greater stones. -.-"

okay thats about the exterior. zoom into my room. the first thing you will notice is my seriously colourful bed. lol. not-that-matching fittings. lol. look-

that black thing at the edge of the bed is an ogawa eye something. helps me to sleep at night when im restless. lol. colourful eih? its comfortable, really.

and thats my workstation. big and long table, awkwardly positioned book rack, and a really really huge window. not that its not good but man, even a cow can jump over it. high jump cows event. all my treasures are on my table. anytime, freaks can just swap it away. look, theyre seriously huge -

see those edifiers? theyre my pride~ =) great sound, great design and value for money. the only problem is that together with the woofer, its nett weight is about 8 kilograms.

greetings everyone!

whee im back on track.

internet in my place is finally up, up, up and on! lol. 24 hours internet connection. whee. okay so i tried blogging in my lab just now but somehow the page didnt load properly.

had a great time in penang before going back to utp. met up with sis and some of her friends. im glad to see that theyre supportive and caring towards each other. visited lots of eating places. non stop digesting food. at nite had a long/longer/longest sharing session. lol. so the next day left for utp. see my dad driving. dare not snap the speedometer or some freaky cyber authorities might ticket me. its a tunnel, somewhere on perak soil.

went back, saw my pretty room. cleaned up and unpacked my stuff. even utp is cleaning up her buildings.

pretty cool my room is. everything looks so blue and yellow. one of my favourite colour combinations. lol. the only problem is that its ground floor and people can just climb in and hijack my room. my roomie came back a few hours later. dad called. something bad happened at home. spare the details i should.

so its routine, registering courses and tutorials.. stuffs like that. new lecturers, new coursemates, new everything. the dang timetable got me into terrible headache(ssss) as usual, with some shocking changes last minute and lots of -

"eh dah full lar session ini! session lain semua clash dengan lecture ni!" thingees.

i need an aspirin, a big one- like a giant curry puff. huh~

come on utp, introduce better alternative(s) to register courses.

had a sharing session with my friend. i guess i havent been making many enemies all of a sudden afterall. im glad. im really really glad its different now. bless her, hope everything will run smoothly for her. i always thought im in a big big huge trouble. im thankful now. really i am.

so tonight, i am here again, hopefully a changed man, after all had happened. let go, just let go, surrender and life will be so much better. i know, He will always be around for all of us if we seek Him. people change, some seriously quick, some takes time. whatever is it, people change all the time. hopefully things turn out alright for everyone.
